Game of ChanceOne roll and my life will change forever. Her eyes told of so much and I realised perhaps for the first time that she is truly beautiful, an angel with scabbed wings. I assumed I’d never know when it would hit me, but I knew. Everything I could want right in front of me, wearing the smile she only wore for me. However there was a twitch about her tender lip that suggested something had stopped her cold in her tracks and that something was heading towards my gut unflinchingly. Tomato RedThe bright lights burn my eyes. I see him approaching and the corners of his mouth twitch, he’s hungry. His cold hands grip me. Surprisingly he is careful and soft yet there remains his forceful intent. I spy the blade across the room, glistening under the cracked shafts of light. As if reading my mind he reaches for it and the fear takes me. As he returns to me I notice a glint of expectation in his eyes that I have never seen before. He wants this to be very satisfying.
